The boys have wanted a pet, and have asked for a pet, for a very long time. Because we used to travel quite a bit, it never made sense to have one and to have to find someone to care for it when we were away. Well, now that we've settled down a bit, it seemed like a better time. Grandma was in town and offered to get them one. They chose a sweet little rabbit and named him Hoppy :) Amaury and I are not animal aficionados, so this was a big step for our family. Nathan has taken over as the primary one in charge of feeding him, changing his cage, and making sure he gets outside for plenty of exercise. They love him and he's learning, slowly, to love them back. I suppose all their excitement could be misunderstood by a sweet little bunny and he could get very nervous - not that that has happened or anything :) We'll keep you updated on the adventures of Hoppy!
