Writing in Spanish :)

Nathan has been learning to write in cursive and doing really well at it. Today he was able to copy Efesios 6:1 (Ephesians 6:1) in Spanish and I was so proud of him! In his Spanish class through our homeschool co-op he is able to take Spanish every Friday morning and learn Scriptures in Spanish as well. What a blessing to know more than one language - just think how many more people you can tell about Jesus! We love you Nathan!

Pillow Pets!

The boys entered the consumer world of Pillow Pets with an early Christmas present from their aunt! They love, much more than I had imagined they would, these new "pets". Nathan got the brown puppy, Anthony got the panda bear, and Noah chose the dolphin. They haven't had the pillows out of their sights since they arrived in the mail :)

Our Sleeping Beauty . . .

As Noah gets older and older, his naps are the first to go. However, there are many days where he just can't go an entire day without one :) In that case, he falls asleep wherever he lands . . . and today he was perched atop the couch :) We were able to move him safely ONTO the couch before he actually fell off the couch. He is so beautiful, awake or asleep, and we love him so much. We try to hold on to these passing moments of "toddlerhood" before they go away so very fast. God bless our sweet Noah!

Fall Baseball 2010

Nathan #45 up to bat for his team this fall! It was a chilly start on this particular morning, but he warmed up the bat with a single and ended up scoring later on to help his team tie the score. Go Nathan!!! He only has one game left this season, but he's had an enjoyable season and will miss the fellowship of the other players and the game itself. We're thankful for the friends we have made with the other families and the opportunity to show God's love through sports.

The Santos Family 2010

Our good friend, Angey Price, from church took some family pictures for us this summer at a nearby park. She does incredible work and is great to work with, especially if you have rambunctious little ones like we do :) In this photo Nathan is 8.5, Anthony is 5, and Noah is 3! Daddy and Mommy are . . . looking good :) We are so thankful to God for the blessings of these three boys who are growing so healthy and quickly. We pray His blessings over them and that they may know Him and make Him known. Amen!

Living here in NC its not difficult to find a great farm, close to home, to have some harvest-time fun :) We recently visited Hill Ridge Farm for some great family time. It had rained, basically flooded, the previous 4 days but on this particular day God gave us incredible sunshine and warm weather :) The boys played in the corn house, took a train ride, rode the giant slide, fed the farm animals, jumped on hay bales and went through the hay tunnel, raced rubber duckies, and took a hayride to a pumpkin farm where everyone went home with a free pumpkin :) It was a great day and we are thankful for the beautiful fall weather God provides :)
