His favorite toy!

If there is a ball within 100 ft of him he WILL find it and play with it endlessly! Here he is at the "school" playground where we go on Fridays. He has a really good time with the other kids and loves the recess time :) What a cutie!

Anthony at "school"!

Anthony has a wonderful time at school each Friday and is learning a ton of new information. He has a fantastic teacher that uses extremely creative ways to teach the children and helps them learn the memory work each week. They sometimes use Legos to learn geography, roll on the floor to remember a certain historical event, and have a science experiment each week - not to mention Bible, Math, Latin, and English too. He also is enjoying giving weekly presentations to his fellow classmates :) We are very proud of him!

End of Summer Sleepover 2009!

The boys had WAY too much fun at the End of the Summer Sleepover, so much so that it may have to become an annual event! Nathan, Anthony, and Noah invited their special friend and neighbor Joshua Soca over to celebrate the end of a fantastic summer for all of us. They had their sleeping bags in the middle of the living room floor, food in their hands, and silliness in their blood! I coaxed them, all expect Noah who had been out for a couple of hours already, to go to bed a little after midnight :) It was a lot of fun for all of us. Boys rock!!!

Here are some more pics of the fun the boys had - playing board games until midnight, eating popcorn and cheese sticks for snacks, and general boy craziness! It was a really wonderful time and we will have to do it again sometime soon :)

Sunday clothes!

My boys love dressing up for church - especially Nathan. In his quest to be like his Daddy, he enjoys wearing suits and dressier clothes. Today we managed to get him to wear something besides a suit and so we decided to get a picture. My! Aren't they handsome boys?!!

Playground Fun!

While big brother Nathan plays baseball, Anthony and Noah have their fun times on the playground. Both of the ballparks have nice playgrounds, open green areas, and lots of trees and hills. They love going to the ballpark - but not for the baseball - but because they have a blast playing around! Perhaps one day they'll be interested in the baseball part. They are half-Dominican after all . . . :)

Bulldogs Baseball 2009

Nathan has started fall baseball season again this fall and his team is called the Bulldogs. You can see they have a lot of fun and he even has on his "game face"! Don't they all look tough?! He is enjoying the weekly practices and the weekend games a lot and he's a much improved player over last year. His season runs through the end of next month.

Anthony's new glasses :)

We recently discovered at a pediatric visit that Anthony may need glasses. We took a trip to the optometrist and, sure enough, he needed glasses. They came in yesterday and he loves them! He needs to wear them all the time and he is seeing details and definition like never before. Besides seeing so much better, we think he looks even more cute than before - and we didn't think that was possible :)
