What a wonderful time we had today visiting with some dear friends, the Norvell's! Marisa and I have know each other almost 30 years now. We went to the same schools and her father was my pastor. Our families sort of adopted each other :) Her husband, Rodney, entered the picture in college. We were each other's maids/matron's of honor and married within one year of each other. They even visited the Dominican Republic with us when both of our firstborn sons were infants/toddlers! They're brave! We haven't lived very near each other, or even in the same state, for over 15 years, but that hasn't changed our BFF status! Rodney is a Missions Pastor at their church, and Marisa - who is a medical physician by trade - has chosen to stay home with their precious Jacob and Makayla, and #3 is on the way! They live in Greenville, SC and we're so thankful they took time to visit us today while in town at a conference at the Seminary. We love you all!
