Noah and the White Sox!

Getting ready to head to practice . . .

A boy and his cleats and his baseball . . .

His White Sox t-ball team . . .

Getting ready to bat :)

No more sitting on the sidelines watching his big brothers play!  Noah is in T-BALL!!! We can not believe he is old enough to play ball, but we are really excited that he can.  He hit really well tonight and ran the bases quickly.  He's had a few years to watch and learn :)  So, here we are.  Another Santos boy hits the dirt and ventures into America's pasttime --- baseball!  We love you, Noah, and we'll always be your biggest fans :)

Helping Dad

Noah scrubbing the tires . . .

Nathan hosing it down . . .
All the boys helped Dad wash both vans today.  They were filthy to say the least, especially inside.  We want to be good stewards of all God has provided for our family, so we're cleaning them up.  Its nice that Daddy has 3 helpers that will eventually take over these duties.  Now, if I could just get them to help clean the bathrooms :)

Chillin' in the 'hood :)

Cool kid . . .

Rock star . . .

Water break . . .
Checking out the woods . . .

Balancing act . . .

 Riding a horse :)

We love our neighborhood.  With plenty of green space, walking trails, a pool, a playground, and woods, what's not to love???  We took a break from school the other morning to enjoy the great outdoors :)  Spring has definitely sprung here in NC and we enjoyed seeing God's creation and all the vibrant colors :)

Classical Conversations Field Day and Awards Day 2012

Nathan and Perry are ready :)

Noah with his Medal of Participation and his blue ribbon for winning the most events in his class :)

Anthony and super-good friend Jonathan!
My Apprentice class of 9 six-year-old boys.  The best!

Nathan with Mrs. Brandy and his Master's class.

We closed out our Classical Conversations homeschool co-op with a Field Day and Awards Day at Joyner Park last Saturday.  It was a beautiful day and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves.  Lots of fun activities and events and then, of course, the Awards.  Both Anthony and Noah won the ribbon in their classes for winning the most Field Day events.  All three boys were recognized for their participation in Memory Masters.  We are very proud of them and the progress they have made.  We're so blessed and thankful for this wonderful homeschool community :)

Broken Bunk!

It really does take a beating. Daily.  This is the underside of the top bunk of the boys' bed.  We're not sure exactly what happened, but we imagine the daily wear and tear of 3 boys must have something to do with it.  We have assured Noah, who sleeps on the bottom bunk that even if it breaks, even with Anthony on it, that it won't fall on him because there are many other slats to hold him up.  Still, it needs to be fixed.  Super glue, anyone???

Easter help

After our church service on Easter Sunday Nathan decided he wanted to help with the stacking of the chairs.  I thought, after he realized how heavy and difficult it was, he would quit after a few minutes.  However, he kept working and helped stack a few hundred chairs.  It was just another glimpse of how my boy is growing and it made us very proud.  We love you, Nathan!

Easter Fun!

Getting ready to color eggs . . .

He loves to color eggs!  Can you tell???

Being silly at our church's Easter event.
A master egg colorer . . .

Our family certainly loves Easter and all the fun activities that go along with it.  However, we can never lose the focus of what Easter means.  It means Resurrection Day! It means Jesus rose from the grave!  It means He conquered sin and death!  It means we have the victory!  It means EVERYTHING!  Easter is my very favorite holiday because of what it means.  May God grant us the wisdom to pass on this knowledge and love to our sweet boys!  Praise the Lord for His goodness!

More fun at Chuck E. Cheese!
Mommy and sweet Noah :)

#5 and #40, I'll let you guess which belongs to whom :)

We are SO thankful to God for giving us Daddy and Noah and for letting them share the same birthday!  God is so gracious to us to allow us to be your family.  How we love and adore each of you.  We thank God for another year of life for you both and pray He is glorified in all you do :)
