Reliv!

Reliv! Wow, this product has changed our family for the good in so many ways. We have been drinking these nutritional products for over 2 years now and have had such positive results: more stamina and energy, lowered triglycerides, less aches and pains. The list goes on and on. Their mission is to Nourish Our World and each DAY they feed these nutritional products to over 40,000 children for free around the world at their various feeding stations! Incredible!
This past Saturday our church held a Craft Fair to raise funds for their adoption ministry and I had a booth to tell others about Reliv. I don't like to sell things and I don't particularly enjoy someone trying to sell things to me, but God convicted me that this is a great product that can help so many people that I had an obligation to tell others - kinda like the Gospel! So, we had the booth and it was a great experience. I can't wait to continue sharing Reliv!

Playing . . .

Anthony and Noah are quite the playmates these days. Here is evidence of some of the things they like to do together, which sometimes means almost taking the bed apart :) They enjoy each other and have great imaginations. That does not mean, however, that they enjoy cleaning up after their adventures. We're still working on that one :)

Cub Scouts

Our Nathan is a Cub Scout! This is a picture of his first meeting in complete uniform. I think he looks mighty handsome in that uniform :) He absolutely adores the Scouts and so far has learned about bicycle safety and pocket knives and has really enjoyed it. We are looking forward to all that he will learn this year :)

Long-time friends :)

This is my sweet friend Renee Babb Galvis :) We worked MissionFuge together back in 1996 before we both married wonderful, godly Hispanic men! She and her husband Juan have 4 little boys and they homeschool and do lots of other important work~ They are now applying with the International Mission Board to go overseas as missionaries. They were in our neck of the woods last week and we had the pleasure of spending a few very-late-at-night minutes together chatting and getting caught up. I thank God for the heart He has given Renee and her family for missions and for sharing Christ AND for our friendship that has spanned the last 14 years!

Fun at Mingo!

As we mentioned earlier, the kids really enjoyed Mingo :) In these pictures they got to participate in a birthday celebration, complete with pinatas for everyone! They also made some good friends along the way and had a good time with them each time we were able to visit. God has His people everywhere!

Interim Pastor

For the past 4 months Amaury has had the privilige of interim pastoring a small church about an hour south of us called Mision Bautista Hispana de Mingo (Mingo Hispanic Baptist Mission) while they searched for a permanent pastor. It has been such a blessing to our family in so many ways. It was great to hear Amaury back in the pulpit, I was able to serve in the Children's Ministry, and the boys heard a lot of Spanish and made some good friends. They have now called a pastor and we are thankful for the time spent there this summer. To God be the glory!

Visit from Papaw!

We had a wonderful visit from Papaw this past week :) It was a sweet time of sharing, laughing, going out to eat, and watching baseball games. The boys love him so much and enjoy spending time with him. We are always so happy when he comes to visit. We love you, Papaw!
