More family in the DR!

Here are some more family pictures from the DR :) There is a picture of Amaury and his cousin Harold. We are always thankful to Harold since he is our resident taxi ride to/from the airport! Also, the beautiful young lady is Amaury's niece Carina who was visiting for the Christmas holidays. The handsome young men are his nephews and that is Abuela Gina holding Noah :)Familia en Republica Dominicana!

This year we had the blessing and privilege of visiting the Dominican Republic for Christmas and allowing the children to meet family they had never met, especially their grandfather. It was a very sweet time of fellowship for everyone. Here you see a picture of all the boys (Amaury, our boys, and their 3 cousins Alfi, Rafi, and Henry), a pic of Amaury and his mother Gina, a picture of the boys and their grandfather Isidro (Doro), a pic of Nathan and his grandfather, and a picture of Anthony and best bud Rafi. We had a wonderful time and are thankful to God for our family across the water :)Casa de Campo

At the invitation of a good friend we were able to spend a day at Casa de Campo, a beautiful resort area on the southeast corner of the Dominican Republic. It was exhilarating to spend December 29 on the BEACH! It was so tropical and so relaxing. We are a family that loves the beach and we really enjoyed this day.Mis tres Cubanitos :)
While in Miami we visited this cool clothing store called Havana Nines where they sell vintage-style Cuban-inspired clothing. The boys were experimenting with the hats and the clerk thought they looked so cute that we should take a picture. So we did and they are mighty handsome :) Now if they could only speak "Cuban", si papi?!Florida Snow!
We spent a long weekend in south Florida prior to our Christmas holidays and actually got to see snow! Fake snow, of course, but the kids enjoyed it nonetheless :) It was wonderful to be outside in December. We were able to spend time at CityPlace in West Palm Beach and a wonderful night at Bayside in Miami. The boys got to ride a train and a beautiful merry-go-round and Nathan was able to Bungee/Trampoline jump about 30 feet in the air. He loved it!Tuesday, December 15, 2009
