Missionary Friends

We had a sweet fellowship visit from a precious friend and her wonderful husband and beautiful children who serve as a family in Swaziland, Africa. They are serving with the IMB and have been there 7 years now and are currently on furlough in the US. We first met Monica in south Florida before she even met her husband, so we go back a little ways :) She and her family are an inspiration and their obedience a testimony to all of us. We are so thankful they chose to spend a little bit of time with us on the way!

Anthony turns 5 years old!!! Feliz Cumpleanos!

Our sweet Anthony turned 5 today! Its hard to believe that this ball of joy and bundle of energy has blessed our family for 5 years already! What a blessing he is to us and we are so thankful to God for giving him to us :) We celebrated at home with a cake - white cake with white icing, his favorite - and went to a Mudcats baseball game tonight. He got a Lego, a new bicycle helmet, and an FBI spy kit from us as well as cards/money from grandparents. WE LOVE ANTHONY SO MUCH! Feliz Cumpleanos to our BEBA boy!

Field Day at Classical Conversations

To end the school year, our homeschool co-op had a Field Day for the kids where they could play all different sorts of games like sack races, limbo, and hula hoop. Here are some pics of both Nathan and Anthony playing games and really enjoying it. We are blessed to be part of this group and have such fun times together :)

Sweet Noah

My sweet, sweet Noah :) He tries desperately to keep up with his 2 older brothers, and he does a pretty good job at it. But, he is barely 3 and still needs his nappies. Today I took some pictures of him while he was sleeping - about the only time he is still enough to actually pose :) I love the soft curves of his fingers and the way his nose turns up on the end. His golden curls and waves in his hair. His soft, uncalloused feet and silky skin. He's getting bigger now, but he's still my baby :)

Ladies Night Out at Open Door

Once each Spring the Women's Ministry at church has a Ladies Night Out where all women can come and fellowship and be encouraged by the testimonies of other ladies. Our Hispanic Adult Bible Fellowship ladies really enjoyed the beautiful decorations, delicious desserts, and inspiring testimonies of how God is so good to each of us. A great time!

Baseball Season begins!

This marks a new era in sports for our family :) Both Nathan and Anthony are playing Spring ball. Nathan is on the A's and Anthony plays t-ball for the Mets. This past Saturday the seaon officially began with a parade (they both got to ride on floats and throw out candy), an opening ceremony and first pitch, followed by the first game for each of them. It was an exciting and fun day for the whole family. Papaw came all the way from KY to see it! They both had a great time and enjoyed Opening Day :)

Look Mom! No . . . training wheels!

Today, much to the surprise of everyone, Anthony asked Daddy to take off his training wheels. So he did AND then Anthony took off on his own like he had been riding without them for years! It was incredible! He went fast, he went slow, he turned curves, he went in circles, he got off, and he got on with no problems! It was a sight to see and he was so proud, smiling the whole time. We were so proud too! He's only 4 and is full of such confidence :)
