We spent a long weekend in south Florida prior to our Christmas holidays and actually got to see snow! Fake snow, of course, but the kids enjoyed it nonetheless :) It was wonderful to be outside in December. We were able to spend time at CityPlace in West Palm Beach and a wonderful night at Bayside in Miami. The boys got to ride a train and a beautiful merry-go-round and Nathan was able to Bungee/Trampoline jump about 30 feet in the air. He loved it!Saturday, January 9, 2010

Three of the Best!
Steph's Birthday 2009!
Happy Birthday Jesus Party 2009
Our church holds an annual Happy Birthday Jesus Party each December and this year was no exception. It is an outreach event for the children in our community. A great time was had in crafts, missions, music, birthday cake, and, finally, a reenactment of that first Christmas night when Jesus was born! The boys had a fantastic time as always!

Take 2!
8 on 8! Nathan's 8th Birthday party!
We can hardly believe our first little boy God gave us is becoming a much bigger boy these days. He celebrated his 8th birthday with a Lego cake shared with some friends from our Homeschool co-op and a couple even spent the night! They played games, built Legos, giggled to Tom & Jerry cartoons, ate some tasty cake, and had a blast spending time together. We are so thankful for the blessing Nathan is to our family and we are so proud of him.CHRISTmas spirit

This year we finally had space -after almost 3 years with tiny space -to put up our beautiful tree and all the decorations that go with it. We try to emphasize that the lights represent Jesus being the Light of the World and the gifts are simply reminders of the Gift of Jesus and the ones the wise men brought to Him. We love taking time to celebrate the birth of Jesus the King. Merry CHRISTmas to everyone :)
