Noah turns 4!

Sweet Noah turned 4 and had a fantastic party at Jumpin' Beans!  He loved it and bounced for 2 solid hours :)  He had several of his friends to join him and share a Diego cupcake Birthday cake with him.  We are SO thankful to God for bringing Noah to our family with his sweet and loving spirit and contagious smile!  WE LOVE YOU, NOAH!

Cub Scout Award Ceremony

Nathan completed his Bear rank this year in Cub Scouts and really enjoyed learning a lot of new skills and making new friends.  We are very proud of his determination and perseverance to complete all the requirements in order to get his rank. We are thankful for all the dedicated volunteers who make the program a success.

Monster Jam 2011

Well, sweet family and friends, its been over 5 months since I last blogged :(  There are plenty of good reasons for that, such as moving, travelling, and lots of school.  However, I promise to do better at keeping you informed of our family adventures and of God's enormous blessings on our lives :)

Here we are celebrating the end of our Classical Conversations homeschool co-op back in March by going to the Monster Jam Truck show in Raleigh!  As you can see ALL the boys are excited and Mommy is content to take pictures :)  It was a fun time for all!

Friends from the 'hood!

We are so blessed to live in a great neighborhood where the boys have many other friends. Here you can see 3 of them - Josh, Alex, and Masoud - chilling at our house for some Tom & Jerry cartoons :) We are thankful for families who share their children with us :)

Papaw feels better!

After a major surgery in late December and a set-back in mid-January requiring another hospital stay, Papaw is home in KY and finally feeling better :) We praise God for his recovery and healing! We had the opportunity to go and spend a week visiting since we were not able to come in for the surgery and it was a sweet time together. He and Noah are big buddies and we all really enjoyed seeing all of the family - grandparents, aunts, and cousins.

Friends from KY

Here are 6 crazy children! On our recent visit to KY to see family we managed to spend a little time with a childhood friend of mine and her 3 children. All the children are within a few months of each other and had a great time hanging out and playing together. We are thankful for friends who stay in touch and who are working hard at being parents who love their children and teach them to love God.

Pastor Alexis

This is an old photo from about 3 years ago of a pastor friend of ours and his wife. They are church planters and Amaury helped them get a church started. The Director of Mission is on the right. This is probably the first church Amaury helped get established where he wasn't the pastor. We are so thankful for the work God has called Amaury to and for his dedication to the position.
